Stefan Obermaier was born in Salzburg and moved to Vienna in 2001 to study Music Science. He left university upon signing his first record contract with Universal Music. Stefan built a name for himself with his solo releases, collaborations and projects with globally renowned artists and labels. In 2012 he founded his own label “Drift Recordings”.
Stefan was awarded the Gold Award (twice) and one time the Platinum Award for his project “Classic Reloaded“. You can listen to his permanent Music Exhibition at the world-famous “Haus der Musik“ in Vienna and Mexico City.
