After over a decade of being in the musical field as a producer and artist, I have always been fascinated with the concept of sound, especially creating emotions and moods with music.

Having worked with many reputable industry partners, music labels and global companies, I have accumulated a vast knowledge and specialization in this field such as music for films/tv, audio tasks, tailor-made sound logos, creating ambiences, and more.
As the name indicates, Boutique Sound provides quality, customized audio production out of a sophisticated, intimate space.

Stefan Obermaier was born in Salzburg and moved to Vienna in 2001 to study Music Science. He left university upon signing his first record contract with Universal Music. Stefan built a name for himself with his solo releases, collaborations and projects with globally renowned artists and labels. In 2012 he founded his own label “Drift Recordings”.
Stefan received one Platinum and three Gold-Awards for his project “Classic Reloaded“. You can listen to his permanent Music Exhibition at the world-famous “Haus der Musik“ in Vienna and Mexico City.
